Championship-Scale Golf with a Northwoods Feel

Loggers Trail was built on a scale that lets the landscape become part of the golf. Across 170 acres and as much as 7,300 yards, the routing alternates between broad, links-influenced holes and tighter wooded corridors. Bentgrass fairways, large greens, bunkering, water, and continually changing sightlines give golfers a course that rewards both confident swings and thoughtful decisions.

The course has earned recognition well beyond Stillwater. GolfPass placed Loggers Trail among Minnesota’s Top 25 courses in both 2025 and 2026, moving from No. 20 to No. 18. Explore Minnesota selected the fourth hole as part of its statewide “Dream 18,” and Loggers Trail has also been trusted as a championship venue, including hosting the Minnesota Public Links Championship in 2017 and again in 2024.

What ultimately distinguishes Loggers Trail is the variety of the experience. Open golf gives way to tree-lined holes, broad views become more intimate corridors, and the natural setting stays present throughout the round. It feels expansive, challenging, and distinctly Minnesota.

A Partnership Grounded in the Course

Aces Guide displayed in the Loggers Trail Golf Course pro shop.

Loggers Trail has been a collaborative Aces Guide® partner from the development of its course-specific edition. The course team contributed hole-level knowledge and descriptions as the guide was being built, helping create an edition grounded in the way Loggers Trail is actually seen, understood, and played.

That collaboration fits the course especially well. With its shifts between open and wooded holes, long sightlines, changing landing areas, water, bunkering, and large greens, Loggers Trail gives golfers plenty to understand before choosing a target or club. The Aces Guide brings that course intelligence together in a physical tool golfers can study before the round, carry during play, and personalize with their own game plan.

Its presence in the Loggers Trail golf shop makes the partnership tangible—a course-specific guide built for a course where seeing the hole clearly and thinking ahead can make the round even more rewarding.
